Learning Skills:

Let's hold up the letter cards and try and guess which letter we see. We can start by saying the letter out loud and then sounding out the words on each card. 'A' is for 'apple'. As your child gets more confident, we can start saying each letter in alphabetical order. What colours can you see on the car? Say them out loud. Why don't we shuffle all the cards and pick out 10. Let's see what words we can make out of the letters we've chosen.

Playing with the alphabet cards encourages children to read and develops both letter and color recognition.
